Jogo do Pau is a traditional Portuguese sport and can be translated as ¨game of sticks¨. Although there are a lot of version of the origin among which is the theory that this sport comes from the Island of Pau during the colonization time, it can be described as something close to Japanese Kendo or even the famous Star Wars lightsaber duel.
